It's like there are a million and one thoughts running through the mind. Maybe it is the Almighty God trying to get through, maybe a deep thought that never was able to come to fruition because of the busy day, or maybe the mind was never given a chance to release its thoughts and ideas for the day. Whatever it is I find myself helplessly laying in bed hoping to fall asleep, so I made myself a bolg, a journal so to speak to realease those endless thoughts that tie the mind up. Today's thought comes from the song:

"One Life to Love"
He never thought he cared so much about the minute hand
Until he started praying for, a second chance
If he could only do it all again
He'd trade the long nights that he spent behind his desk
For all he missed

He tells his wife, "I wish that this moment in this room was not me dying, but just spending a little time with you."

You only get just one time around
You only get one shot at this
One chance, to find out
The one thing that you don't wanna miss
One day when it's all said and done
I hope you see that it was enough, this
One ride, one try, one life...
To love....

She never thought she cared so much about those little hands
That held on tight the day she left
Til she was scared to death
Sitting all alone on a hotel bed, the end of the road
The sun had set on her big plans
To feel young again

She picks up the phone, dials the number, hears that little voice
That's haunted every single mile, since she made that choice

You only get just one time around
You only get one shot at this
One chance, to find out
The one thing that you don't wanna miss
One day when it's all said and done
I hope you see that it was enough, this
One ride, one try, one life... To love............

33 Miles

When I look at my two beautiful boys and watch them grow up at a rapid pace I find myself constantly reminding myself of similar sentiments. I don't want to ever stop along the way or one day look back on the journey wishing I had another chance for I have been given the time now. No matter how busy I am I want to alwaysbe available for my wife and kids. There is no better journey, and I have been blessed on this road. If only everyone could stop being busy and stop saying when I finish this then I will...... After all we don't know when it will end!!!

My Dream for my Children

I wanted to share some lyrics that touched my heart deeply. My kids are amazing. I often am astonished about how blessed I am to share the children God has given us with my wife. I believe wholeheartedly that God has BIG plans and is going to use them in a BIG way! Check out the lyrics and take a moment to listen to the song. I will try to share it on the Blog. Don't forget to spend every opportunity to be with your kids because every day that goes by is the end of a day you will never get back. Create memories. Spend time with your kids!!!

Artist: Britt Nicole
Song: Set The World On Fire

I wanna set the world on fire
Until it`s burning bright for You
It`s everything that I desire Can I be the one You use?
I, I am small butYou, You are big enoughI, I am weak butYou, You are strong enough toTake my dreams Come and give them wings Lord with YouThere`s nothing I can not do Nothing I cannot do

I wanna feed the hungry children And reach across the farthest land And tell the broken there is healing And mercy in the Father`s hands
My hands my feet My everything My life, my loveLord, use me
I wanna set the world on fireI wanna set the world on fire, yeah
I`m gonna set the world on fireSet the world on fire
